The male victim, 37, was working at an area business when the suspects entered and took money. The victim attempted to stop them, and the suspects threatened him. The suspects fled, and responding officers located them and took them into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Narayanan Shankar, 37, and Aja Whyms, 21, for robbery.
2. Robbery (2302) 100 Block of South Wilson Way, Park District
The juvenile victim was in the listed area when the suspect approached, assaulted him, and took his property. The victim declined medical attention. SUSPECT: Unknown race male.
3. Robbery (0227) 2700 Block of Country Club Boulevard, Civic District
The male victim, 55, was working at an area business when the suspect entered, pointed a gun at the victim, and demanded money. The victim complied, and the suspect fled. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
4. Weapon Arrest (0239) 3000 Block of Rutherford Drive, Valley Oak District
Officers responded to a disturbance involving a suspect with a gun. Officers located the suspect and took him into custody. He was found to be in possession of a firearm. ARRESTED: Joshua Mendivil, 19, for public intoxication and weapon charges.
