New 4-Way Stop Signs! Please be advised and use caution as the Yorktown Highway Department recently installed 4-way stop signs at these two intersections:
1. Quinlan Street and London Road--- Drivers on Quinlan Street now must also stop!
2. Hanover Street and Underhill Ave- Drivers on Hanover Street now must also stop!
Until these stop signs become common knowledge-some unsuspecting drivers may not be aware of them-make sure it’s safe to proceed before you cross. Reminder-for drivers arriving at a 4-way stop intersection at the same time-the car on your right has the right of way.
