As fire season is upon us, we at the City of Willits Police Department want to ensure that all residents are aware of the Hi-Lo siren’s distinct sound. Willits Police patrol cars are equipped with Hi-Lo sirens which will only be activated in emergencies that require an immediate evacuation. When you hear the Hi-Lo it’s time to go!
Today at 3:30 pm our Police Department will conduct a Hi-Lo Siren Emergency Evacuation Drill in patrol cars driving our City streets with sirens activated. DO NOT EVACUATE as this is only a drill. The drill will end by 3:40 pm. Please do not call 911(unless you have an emergency) or police dispatch during the drill.
