The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) would like to inform the community that the Takoma Aquatic Center (300 Van Buren Street NW) will be closed as DPR hosts the 2025 World LGBTQIA+ Water Polo Championships. Takoma Aquatic Center will return to standard operations on Friday, June 6. Please see below for details.
Takoma Aquatic Center operating hours May 31 – June 5:
- Saturday, May 31 – Sunday, June 1:
- Monday, June 2 - Thursday, June 5:
- Open: 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM
- Closed: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Open: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
