UPDATE: Market Street Improvements, Phase 2 Transit Hub 
Due to last week’s rain events, planting has been rescheduled to begin 6/02/25. This work is expected to be completed end of day, 6/06/25.
Friday 5/30/25, 7:00am there will be a small crew working at the west end of Water St. @ Chestnut St, to saw cut roadway for a required crosswalk.
Monday, 6/02/25 7:00am the roadway west end of Water St. @ Chestnut St. will be removed. When this is completed, trench plates will be installed to allow access into and out of Water Street.
Monday, 6/09/25 7:00am all access into and out of Water St. will be closed to allow for the placement of required concrete crosswalk.
Tuesday, 6/10/25 7:00am trench plates will be placed over new concrete and Water St. will be re-opened to light vehicle traffic.
Monday, 6/16/25 7:00am trench plates will be removed and Water St. will be re-opened to all traffic.
Sidewalk to Water St. will remain open throughout the duration of this work.
Updates to this PSA will be issued as needed.
