On Thursday, May 29, 2025, at approximately 5p.m., the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team conducted a joint investigation with the Michigan Department of Corrections. Detectives responded to a residence in the 300 block of Orchard St., in the City of Dowagiac, MI. While searching the residence, detectives located methamphetamine, methamphetamine paraphernalia, and evidence of methamphetamine distribution. Detectives arrested a 44-year-old male and a 41-year-old female. The 44-year-old male was arrested for maintaining a drug house and possession of methamphetamine. The 41-year-old female was arrested for possession methamphetamine. The suspect’s Names are being withheld pending arraignment on the charges in the 4th district court. The investigation is still ongoing. Agencies assisting with the investigation were the Michigan Department of Correction, Cass County Sheriff’s Office, and Dowagiac Police Department.
