Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Criminal Mischief Suspect

Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. seeks the public’s help in identifying the below pictured suspect, who damaged a display rack and knocked over merchandise at a discount store on May 25, 2025.
The criminal mischief incident occurred at approximately 8:01 p.m. when the male suspect entered the Dollar Tree in the 1000 block of Kenneth A. Gibson Boulevard and began arguing with a cashier. After he attempted to start a fight, the suspect knocked over several items from the shelves, damaged a display rack, and left heading southbound on the major thoroughfare.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information about the suspect’s identity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
