1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1500) 1100 Block of East Fremont, Park District
The male victim, 46, was in the area when the suspect swung a knife at him. The victim was not struck, and the suspect fled on foot. SUSPECT: White male adult.
2. Robbery (1919) 5100 Block of Montauban Avenue, Valley Oak District
The male victims, 24 and 28, were working inside an area business when the suspects attempted to shoplift merchandise. The victims confronted the suspects, who battered them. The suspects were detained, and the merchandise was recovered. The victims did not require medical attention. ARRESTED: Mikiah Riley, 19, and Nathaniel Trujillo, 25, for robbery and conspiracy.
3. Resisting Arrest (2358) 3100 Block of Ogden Lane, Park District
Officers responded to a report of trespassing near the listed call location. As officers attempted to detain the suspect, she resisted and grabbed the officers. Force was used to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Jannett Rodriguez, 34, for resisting arrest and battery on an officer.
4. Resisting Arrest (0112) 800 Block of West Charter Way, Seaport District
Officers contacted a suspicious subject in the listed area. During the contact, the suspect fled on foot and attempted to enter an occupied vehicle being driven. Force was used to take the suspect into custody. The suspect has not been positively identified as of this writing.
5. Weapon Arrest (0243) 300 Block of West Benjamin Holt Drive, Lakeview District
Officers responded to the area of the call location on a report of a subject firing a gun. Upon arrival, the suspect fled on foot. Officers used force and took the suspect into custody. A discarded loaded firearm was located. ARRESTED: Frank Quarles, 35, for weapon charges, discharge of a firearm, and resisting arrest.
