Sheriff Clint Roach reports that on 05/31/2025 at approximately 1320 hours, his deputies of the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle crash on Brownsville Rd and Union Rd., Calvin Township, Cass County Michigan.
 
 The investigation showed that a vehicle traveling eastbound on Brownsville Rd. driven by Gary Schlenther (55years old from Niles, MI) attempted to pass another vehicle, driven by Kelly Rodriguez (43 years old from Vandalia, MI), who was making a left turn off of Brownsville. Rodriguez was transported by SMCAS Ambulance to Ascension Borges Lee Hospital for injuries sustained in the traffic crash.
