Special Weather Statement until 01:30PM

At 1250 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 6 miles southwest of Sumner Lake to 12 miles north of Elida, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Fort Sumner, Melrose, House, Tolar, Taiban, Saint Vrain, Sumner Lake State Park, Sumner Lake, Ranchvale and Floyd. This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 311 and 378.
