At 124 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong thunderstorms in Curry and Quay Counties, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Clovis, Tucumcari, Texico, Melrose, San Jon, Grady, Wheatland, Broadview, Bellview and Ranchvale. This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 331 and 373. Highway 60 between Mile Markers 358 and 397. State Road 104 between Mile Markers 103 and 105.
