Deputies Working "Party Car" Operation Respond to 75 Calls for Service and Issue Multiple Citations

SUMMARY: On May 9, 2025, the Hesperia Police Department initiated an operation to address quality-of-life issues created by loud music disturbances, firework disturbances, and illegal food vendors. The operation utilizes two patrol vehicles occupied by two deputy sheriffs to respond to disturbance related calls for service and to proactively investigate trespassing law violations committed by illegal food vendors. The operation will continue throughout the summer in an effort to address quality-of-life issues in the city of Hesperia.
Between Friday, May 16, and Saturday, May 31, 2025, the deputies responded to 75 calls for service for loud music and 38 Multiple Response Forms were issued. The deputies also contacted 29 illegal food vendors and issued five citations for city code violations. The deputies issued four citations for expired registration, one citation for driving without a license, and arrested one subject for a felony warrant.
