Northwestern Butler County in south central Kansas...
* Until 400 PM CDT.
* At 1153 AM CDT, trained weather spotters reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain across the warned area. In the city of
Whitewater, street flooding has been reported. Between 3 and 4
inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1.5 to
2.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.
SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
