* At 252 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Polo to near Buckner to near Belton, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Public. Several reports of wind damage have been received from the KC metro with these storms. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
