* At 145 AM CDT, flash flooding was ongoing due to rainfall from earlier thunderstorms. Between 3 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring. Emergency management reported flooded roadways and water rescues in the Rowlett and Sachse areas. Reports of stalled vehicles along US 75 and 15th Street near Plano as well. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Dallas, Plano, Garland, Irving, Carrollton, Frisco, Richardson, Lewisville, Allen, Flower Mound, Rowlett, Grapevine, Wylie, Coppell, The Colony, Farmers Branch, Sachse, Highland Village, Addison and Murphy.
