Wilmington Police arrest two men on gun charges:
Wilmington Police have arrested two men on gun charges.
On May 29, at approximately 2:23 p.m., members of the Gun Intelligence Unit conducted a vehicle stop in the area of West 12th and North West Streets. Police made contact with the driver – 20-year-old Muhammad Means, and a passenger – 19-year-old Emanuel Cooper. Following a brief investigation, Means and Cooper were taken into custody without incident, and police recovered two loaded 9mm handguns.
Means has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited – Two Counts
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
Cooper has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited – Two Counts
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
