Activity for June 5, 2025:
- Officer Marcum was dispatched to the 300 block of Orange Street for a larceny report. Multiple firearms were entered into the national database as stolen.
- Sergeant Burkart responded to the Washtenaw County Jail for a warrant pick-up. A 36-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Goings was dispatched to Washington Avenue and Fourth Street for a personal welfare check on a subject in a vehicle. The 56-year-old male driver was transported to the hospital. Charges will be sought on the driver for possessing narcotic paraphernalia, and driving under the influence of narcotics.
- Officer Smith responded to the 1300 block of Locust Street for a personal welfare check.
- Officer Smith and Sergeant Stanton assisted City Inspection with an administrative search warrant in the 700 block of Kennedy Street.
- Sergeant Burkart and the Detective Bureau executed a search warrant at the Travel Lodge.
- Officer Marcum assisted the MDOC Fugitive Team in the 400 block of Orange Street.
- Detective Brooks and Officer Schram conducted a traffic stop near First Street and Griswold Street. A 19-year-old male was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon.
- Officer Mills conducted a traffic stop at Lansing Avenue and West Monroe Street. A 28-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Tripp was dispatched to the 300 block of East Porter Street for a subject damaging property. A 38-year-old male was arrested for malicious destruction of property, and multiple outstanding felony warrants.
