Southwest Fest is this Saturday
Hoboken residents are invited to join the fun at Southwest Fest, taking place tomorrow, Saturday, June 7, on Jackson Street between Second and Fourth Streets.
The community festival will take place from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and will feature carnival games, live music, face painting, and live performances throughout the afternoon, including DJ Bripee.
Please note, Jackson Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from Second to Fourth Streets.
Puppies and Pride Family Parade is Saturday
Residents are invited to the Puppies and Pride Family Parade, happening this Saturday, June 7, at 4 p.m. along the Waterfront Walkway at Pier C.
Community members and their four-legged friends are invited to show their Pride by dressing in their most vibrant rainbow attire and joining the parade. Prizes will be awarded for categories including Proudest Pup and Best Dressed Squad.
REMINDER: Pride Crosswalk Painting is Sunday
Hoboken residents are invited to the Pride Crosswalk Painting event on Sunday, June 8, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Newark and Washington Streets. Led by a professional painting team, the event invites volunteers ages 16 and up to help paint the intersection in honor of LGBTQIA+ Pride. Advance registration is required by emailing [email protected].
To accommodate the event, Washington Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from Observer Highway to First Street between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. NJ Transit buses will be rerouted to Hudson Street and Bloomfield Street during this time.
