OUTAGE UPDATE: Crews are about to restore the southwest area of town. They will be moving east to address a large outage there. 
Tonkawa Electric Crews have reported that they are preparing to restore power to the southwest portion of town, which will turn the power back on for a large number of customers.
Additionally, they are cutting trees in the areas of 6th Street and 7th Street.
After they have restored power to the southwest portion of town, they plan to move east to address the large cluster of outages there. Depending on the tasks, they will divide and address the northern portions of town at the same time. However, this will depend on the work needed in the southeast areas, as we only have two bucket trucks.
