Special Weather Statement until 06:45PM

At 602 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6 miles east of House, or 28 miles northeast of Fort Sumner, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Clovis, Texico, Melrose, Grady, House, Ranchvale, Saint Vrain, Cannon Air Force Base, Broadview and Ragland. This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 358 and 397.
