The City of Ferris is under an Enhanced Risk for severe weather today, according to the Texas Division of Emergency Management and NOAA.
What to Expect:
• Scattered to numerous severe storms
• Potential for damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes
• Storms may develop this afternoon and evening
What You Should Do:
• Monitor local weather reports closely
• Make sure your mobile devices are charged
• Secure outdoor items that could blow away
• Have a safe shelter plan ready, especially if you live in a manufactured home
