SVRMOB The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Southern Covington County in south central Alabama...

* Until 730 PM CDT.

* At 629 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 14 miles northwest of Laurel Hill, or 18 miles southwest of Andalusia, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Florala and Lockhart.

* AFFECTED AREAS: COVINGTON, AL

Instructions:

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning are occurring with this storm.
