* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Crockett, Irion, Schleicher and Tom Green.

* WHEN...Until 815 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 505 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.75 and 1.25 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 0.75 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mertzon, Sherwood, Barnhart, Arden, Us-190 Near The Crockett- Sutton County Line and Us-67 Near The Irion-Tom Green County Line. - This includes the following Low Water Crossings... RM 853 crossing Dry Draw, Ranch Road 853 crossing east Rocky Creek, Ranch Road 859 crossing west Rocky Creek, Ranch Road 853 crossing Middle Concho River, County Road 113 crossing Dove Creek, crossings along County Road 411, crossings along County Road 302, County Road 202 crossing Lopez Creek, Sherwood Cemetery crossing and County Road 202 crossing Spring Creek. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
