Shooting Incident on Bell Street
Amarillo, TX - At 6:08 PM, Amarillo police officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Bell Street following a 911 hangup call. Upon arrival, officers were flagged down at 1550 S. Bell, specifically in the parking lot of the Axiom Apartments, where they found an individual who had been shot.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. The condition of the individual is currently unknown.
Authorities have confirmed that the suspect is in custody, and this incident is considered isolated, posing no additional threat to the community.
The Amarillo Police Departments Violent Crime Unit is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
