ALL CLEAR AT GROSSE POINTE NEIGHBORHOOD CLUB 
This afternoon, the Grosse Pointe City Public Safety Department responded to a reported bomb threat at the Grosse Pointe Neighborhood Club. The threat was directed at a single doctor's office within the facility.
Out of an overabundance of caution, the building was evacuated and secured. Bomb detection K-9 units were brought in to thoroughly check the premises.
After a complete and careful search, no threat was found. The scene has been cleared, and normal operations have resumed.
We are especially grateful for the Grosse Pointe Park officers that responded and Corewell Health Security and Royal Oak Police who responded with K-9 units.
Our detectives are aggressively following up on this case and working to identify the source of the threat.
We understand these situations can be alarming, and we appreicate the cooperation of the staff, its patrons, and our neighboring agencies. As always, the safety of our community is our top priority.
