West Springfield High School Celebrates Class of 2025 Graduation at Eastern States Exposition

WEST SPRINGFIELD, MA: On Sunday, June 8, West Springfield High School proudly celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2025 at the historic Coliseum at the Eastern States Exposition. A total of 271 students were awarded diplomas, marking a major milestone for students and their families.  West Springfield’s Adult Education Program also awarded 14 diplomas, celebrating the perseverance and commitment of adult learners in the community.

This remarkable class has shown extraordinary resilience and determination in navigating their high school years amid the challenges of a worldwide pandemic. Despite unprecedented obstacles, these students adapted, persevered, and continued to pursue their academic and personal goals with dedication and optimism.

Looking ahead, 125 students, or 46.1 percent of the class, plan to attend four-year colleges, while 88 students, representing 32.1 percent, will enroll in two-year community colleges. Forty-one graduates, or 15.1 percent, will enter the workforce immediately. Additionally, nine students, accounting for 3.3 percent, will pursue vocational, trade, or preparatory programs, and eight students, or 3 percent, have committed to military service.

Mayor William Reichelt, who also serves as Chair of the School Committee, said: “The Class of 2025 has demonstrated remarkable dedication and resilience through their high school journey. As they embark on their next chapter—whether in higher education, career, or service—we are confident they will continue to make our community proud. Their achievements are a testament to their hard work and the strong support of their families and educators.”

The Town of West Springfield extends its heartfelt congratulations to all graduates and wishes them continued success in their future endeavors.
