City of Westlake Traffic Alert: Concrete Pour Operations
The City of Westlake would like to inform residents and commuters of upcoming concrete pour operations that will impact traffic flow in several residential areas. From Tuesday, June 11th through Friday, June 13th, 2025, contractors will be conducting concrete pours along Woodland Drive, Laughlin Road, and Holden's Arbor.
These operations are part of ongoing infrastructure improvements designed to enhance road conditions and safety in these neighborhoods. During the concrete pour process, temporary lane restrictions and periodic road closures may be necessary to ensure worker safety and proper concrete curing. Residents can expect intermittent delays, reduced speeds, and possible detours during active work hours, typically between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Motorists are strongly encouraged to plan alternative routes when possible and allow extra travel time when navigating through these areas. Local traffic will be maintained whenever feasible, but access to driveways and side streets may be temporarily restricted during active pouring operations.
