Freshour Charged with Meth Possession
Deputy Tre Spearman with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Brittany Lane Freshour, 39, of Marion with felony Possession of Methamphetamine. She was denied bond due to already being out on pretrial release.
On Wednesday, June 4, Deputy Spearman assisted MCSO detectives during a traffic stop off Ashworth Rd. involving Freshour.
A free air sniff by MCSO K9 Hiko alerted to the odor of narcotics present and a search of the vehicle followed. Suspected amounts of methamphetamine (2.8 grams) were found in Freshour’s purse.
