The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) and the DC Department of General Services (DGS) would like to inform the community that the playground at Sherwood Recreation Center (640 10th Street NE) will be CLOSED today, Wednesday, June 11, 2025, to repair damage to the surface of the playground. It is expected to reopen by 12:00 PM on Thursday, June 12, 2025.
