Summer time is here, and so is our Gloucester Township Police Community Outreach Team!
The Community Outreach Team consists of our Community Relations Officers and School Resource Officers who deploy our Community Outreach Truck (COT) to Gloucester Township events, farmers markets, neighborhoods, and parks for our local children to have fun playing video and outdoor games with our Officers!
The Community Outreach Truck was purchased with confiscated drug funds and 9/11 Homeland Security grants in 2003 as our first Mobile Command Center. It was then repurposed as our Community Outreach Truck in 2016, upon the purchase of our current Mobile Command Center.
Inside was outfitted with plenty of seating, large screens, and video games for the kids to play in the air conditioned interior. Outside was outfitted with several of outdoor games like cornhole, bucket ball, and volleyball to enjoy on nice, sunny days.
