Launches Summer Safety Program in Partnership with Lupo Pizzeria
Fair Haven, NJ – June 12, 2025
Fair Haven P.B.A. Local 184 is proud to announce the return of its Summer Safety Program, a community initiative aimed at promoting helmet safety among local youth.
Throughout the summer months, uniformed officers will be on patrol issuing safety recognition cards to children seen properly wearing their helmets while biking, skateboarding, or rollerblading. Each card is redeemable for one free slice of pizza at Lupo Pizzeria, our valued partner for the second consecutive year.
This initiative reflects a continued commitment to positive reinforcement and community engagement. The goal is to promote safe habits, reward responsible behavior, and help make this summer a safe one for local kids. The program will run through the conclusion of the Fair Haven Firemen’s Fair.
As a reminder, New Jersey law requires all individuals under the age of 17 to wear an approved bicycle helmet when riding a bicycle or using rollerblades, scooters, or skateboards.
