First and foremost, welcome to what we hope will be a happy and healthy summer in the Boroughs of Deal, Interlaken, and Loch Arbour.
Over the past year, the Deal Police Department has been diligently preparing for the busy summer season. Our officers have completed extensive training and stand ready to respond to any situation that may arise.
Over the last 24 to 48 hours, we have remained in close contact with our state and county partners as we routinely do. While there is no known or credible threat at this time, recent events locally and abroad remind us of the importance of readiness. You will notice an increased police presence this weekend and throughout the summer. We have added extra patrols, including both uniformed and plainclothes officers, to ensure the continues safety of our communities.
We ask all of our community partners: if you see anything suspicious or if something feels off, please contact the Deal Police Department immediately. Do not delay your timely call, as it can make all the difference.
