Strong southeasterly winds peak this afternoon, then diminish through tonight. Gusts of up to 65 mph are forecast. As of 3 PM, the strongest observed gusts have been: - 60 mph at Cold Bay - 47 mph at Nelson Lagoon - 38 mph at King Cove - 34 mph at Sand Point Use caution as strong winds this afternoon, in combination with moderate to heavy rain, could lead to difficult travel conditions.
