At 1014 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles south of Spencer to near Amma to Smithers. Movement was east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Clay, Montgomery, Chesapeake, Belle, Clendenin, Cedar Grove, East Bank, Glasgow, Smithers, Gauley Bridge, Pratt, Powellton, Glen, Big Otter, Wallback, Amma, Harrison, Handley, Nebo, and Shock. This includes the following highways... Interstate 79 between mile markers 17 and 49. West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 74 and 75, and between mile markers 79 and 87.
