* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of East Arkansas, including the following counties, Crittenden, Lee, Phillips and St. Francis, North Mississippi, including the following counties, DeSoto, Marshall, Tate and Tunica, and West Tennessee, including the following counties, Fayette and Shelby.

* WHEN...Until 1045 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 844 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bartlett, Southaven, Collierville, Germantown, Olive Branch, West Memphis, Horn Lake, Forrest City, Hernando, Marion, Millington, Marianna, Hughes, Palestine, T O Fuller State Park, Meeman Shelby Forest State Park, Cordova, Memphis, Lakeland and Arlington. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
