This is from smoke drifting down from a wildfire In Wharton State Forest (Burlington County), and not resulting from anything in Elmer or the surrounding communities.
If you see or smell smoke near your home, this MAY LIKELY be the cause. If you feel there is an imminent hazard or fire condition within your home or property, please dial 9-1-1 immediately.
Vulnerable populations are urged to stay indoors, with windows closed whenever possible, to minimize the effects of smoke and related odors.
