Shots Fired Incident 
On June 15, 2025 at 1:26am, Middleton Police dispatch received multiple calls from residents in the area of South Avenue and Maple Street reporting the sound of six gunshots heard in the area. Officers investigating found multiple expended casings laying in the intersection. A house nearby had a damaged window. One witness heard a car idling in the area beforehand and said it drove southwest on Maple Street after the gunshots.
