Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the stabbing death of a male adult in Maywood.
Deputies from East Los Angeles Sheriff's Station responded to the 5900 block of Atlantic Boulevard in the city of Maywood to investigate the stabbing of a male adult at the location. The incident occurred on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at approximately 10:06 p.m.
Deputies from East Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station responded to the 5900 block of Atlantic Boulevard in the city of Maywood regarding a gunshot victim call. Upon arrival, deputies contacted Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel who were on scene rendering aid to the victim. They learned the victim had actually been stabbed. The male victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Investigators learned the victim and the suspect were involved in an altercation when the suspect produced a knife and stabbed the victim. The investigation is ongoing, and currently, there's no information available at this time.
