Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of a male adult in Palmdale. The incident occurred on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at approximately 10:40 p.m.
Deputies from Palmdale Sheriff's Station responded to the 1200 block of Avenue S in the city of Palmdale regarding a report of an assault with a deadly weapon gunshot victim call. Upon arrival, deputies located a male adult suffering from a gunshot wound. The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and pronounced the victim deceased.
Homicide Bureau investigators are on scene conducting the investigation. The victim is described as a male black 31-years-old. No information about the victim will be released until the notification of the next of kin. One individual was detained on scene and is currently being questioned by investigators. The investigation is ongoing, and currently, there’s no additional information available at this time.
