Green Bay Police Respond to Social Media Videos of Arrest at Bay Beach Amusement Park; John Alexander, 38, Green Bay
The Green Bay Police Department (GBPD) is aware of the cell phone videos circulating on social media showing an arrest made by our officers on Thursday, June 12, 2025.
This arrest occurred at Bay Beach Amusement Park following the report of a suspicious person who allegedly made uncomfortable comments to a park employee and caused fear.
During the encounter, officers determined a need to arrest. The suspect subsequently resisted, and force was used to take him into custody.
The Brown County District Attorney’s Office charged John Alexander, 38, on June 13, 2025:
- Disorderly Conduct
- Resisting an Officer

In addition, we can confirm that the camera crew at the scene of the incident is from COPS TV.
