Three Arrested Following Armed Robbery in Oakland
The Oakland Police Department (OPD) is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred just before 10:15 p.m. on June 15, 2025, in the 2400 block of MacArthur Boulevard.
When officers arrived at the scene, the victim reported that two unknown suspects entered the establishment and threatened them with an object before stealing cigarettes and cash. The suspects left the area in a vehicle driven by a third individual.
A short while later, just before 10:30 p.m., OPD officers located the suspect vehicle near 62nd Avenue and Eastlawn Street. Officers attempted an enforcement stop, but the suspects continued, later colliding with an unoccupied parked vehicle in the 1400 block of 78th Avenue. All three suspects exited the vehicle and ran on foot, with one seen armed with a firearm.
Eventually, responding patrol officers arrested all three suspects and recovered the firearm.
