We have received numerous calls about baby deer being found by residents in their yards thinking they were abandoned because the mother is not in the area. The mother often leaves the fawn to look for food and will come back to feed them. If the fawn appears injured please call OTPD, otherwise keep an eye on them from a distance and know that the mother deer found your yard a safe place to leave her baby while she's away.
