On May 24th the police department took a report of a Violation of an Order of Protection, that occurred at a residence on West Washington Street. Upon completing an investigation, the report was submitted to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office. On June 13th, the police department obtained an arrest warrant issued by the state’s attorney’s office charging the defendant, Christopher S. Harvey age 36 of Millstadt, with Violation of an Order of Protection; a Class A Criminal Misdemeanor. On June 16th, Harvey surrendered himself at the Millstadt Police Department. Additionally, he was taken into custody on a Perry County traffic warrant.
