SIRENS SOUNDING 
The Tonkawa emergency management has activated the outside storm sirens again. A a dangerous storm pattern is traveling towards Tonkawa. Please take this time to take your emergency precautions and plan to go to your shelters. If you do not have a safe shelter, the Tonkawa High school safe room is currently open to the public. Be safe room at Tonkawa high school is located at 500 E. North Ave. No animals. No exceptions. It is important to note that the Tonkawa outdoor storm sirens do not have an “ALL CLEAR” alert. If you hear the sirens, that is an alert to take shelter immediately. Please stay tuned to the Tonkawa emergency management Facebook page and these Nixle alerts. Stay safe.
