Wilmington Police have arrested a wanted man on drug charges.
On June 13, at approximately 2:25 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division were in the 700 block of North Washington Street, when they observed a wanted male subject. Police made contact with 34-year-old Carlos Rodriquez, who was taken into custody without incident. Rodriquez was found to be in possession of 14.82 grams of crack cocaine, and 1.26 grams of heroin.
Rodriquez has been charged with the following offenses in addition to his outstanding warrants:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 2 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 1 Quantity
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $8,000 cash-only bail.
