* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of northeast Illinois, including the following counties, Cook and DuPage.
* WHEN...Until 900 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Roads and streets may be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 706 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain from slow moving showers. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding, particularly in low-lying or other flood-prone areas. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Chicago, Cicero, Skokie, Des Plaines, Berwyn, Oak Park, Downers Grove, Elmhurst, Lombard, Ohare Airport, Park Ridge, Addison, Elk Grove Village, Niles, Austin, Irving Park, West Town, West Ridge, Lake View and Lincoln Park. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
