EXTREME HEAT WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values of 105 to 110 degrees possible at times.

* WHERE...Iowa

* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon through Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A heat wave will begin across Iowa on Friday and intensify this weekend, resulting in several consecutive days of dangerously hot and humid conditions that may last into early next week.
