Marion Woman Receives Felony Drug Charge
Deputy Jordan Cox with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 36-year-old Porschea Sierra Collins of Marion with felony Possession of Methamphetamine. She was issued a secured bond of $10,000.
On Sunday, June 8, Deputy Cox initiated a traffic stop on a black BMW for a traffic violation. Collins was the driver and had been operating the vehicle without a license.
A subsequent search of the vehicle by deputies turned up a suspected amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Collins was placed under arrest and transported to the McDowell County Detention Center, and the vehicle was towed.
