A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 9 p.m. Damaging winds and hail are possible, along with frequent lightning. Strong wind gusts could cause downed trees and power lines.
Storms will also be accompanied by torrential downpours which can lead to brief areas of poor drainage and roadway ponding. Please use caution while driving this afternoon and evening.
