June 19, 2025 – West Clark Fire – Update
Just to clarify the current evacuation order is for residents west of south Lincoln in the City Creek area. The American Red Cross has set up a shelter at City Hall located at 911 N 7th Ave for anyone needing a place to go.
A temporary flight restriction has been put in place for the airspace above the wildfire. Thus drones cannot be flown by Federal law. Please follow this and don’t put the air resources helping to fight the fire at risk!!!


June 19, 2025 – West Clark Fire – EVACUATION NOTICE
The Pocatello Police Department is actively evacuating the area north of Lincoln extending into City Creek due to the progression of the West Clark Fire.
Officers are going door-to-door notifying residents. A Reverse 911 alert is also being sent to those in the affected evacuation zone.
IMPORTANT:

  • Do NOT fly drones in the area. Unauthorized drones will force air support to be grounded, putting lives and property at greater risk.
  • Avoid the area to allow emergency crews to safely and effectively continue their efforts to contain the fire.
Please stay tuned to official channels for updates and follow all evacuation orders immediately. Your safety is our top priority.
